Customer Service
To whom it may concern,
On Saturday July 10th, 2021 I wasted over 3 hours of my life that I will never get back thanks to the absolute worst customer service available in the equipment rental industry.
United Rentals claims to have an after hours service since they are closed on weekends. After calling the United Rentals number, I was directed to follow the prompts on the
Phone as per the recorded message to get in touch with someone for rentals that are needed for after normal business hours.
A recording comes on and tells me that your call will be taken in the order it was received. THREE different times I called on the morning of July 10th, 2021 beginning at 8:02am and
I proceeded to wait each time for over ONE hour for someone to take my call.
THREE different occasions and I waited for over an hour on each call placed and not ONE single person could pick up the phone!
United Rentals after hours service is the ABSOLUTE worst customer service existing in the equipment rental industry.

Spartenburg, So. Carolina Customer Service Stinks
My husband rented a SkyJack lifter to install decking on our new home which is under construction. No one advised him to cover the equipment and consequently it has ruined our newly poured concrete patio with horrible rust stains.
When we called to ask if they would do something for us, the Rep. told us there was nothing that they could do and no one before had ever complained about this problem. He was so disinterested in our problem and didn't even care enough to ask how he could help. We have pictures of the staining, but he didn't even care about what he could do to stop this problem from happening to future customers.
I would really appreciate someone from United Rentals reaching out to us. Rental Reservation #19263****. Customer # 493****. Job Location Lot #35 Inspiration Ridge Dr.

It is now March 1st and the only contact or progress made in this, is another late charge. They still cannot produce an invoice showing what they did with the check we sent originally. I am awestruck how little this company cares about their service or ripping off their customers
