Company is unorganized thieves

My company rented a reefer trailer from these thieves for years. We ended up purchasing the unit and paying exactly what we were invoiced. All of the sudden they have started harassing my accounting department with threats and all saying we owe them $800 but cannot explain or produce the proof. They keep claiming they used a credit but there is no credit and they cannot show us where they used the credit. This company will harass you and threaten you with things they cannot back up. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. I'd say their harassment has been going on for about 4 months now. We paid them just to make the harassment stop, but I am now making sure anyone and everyone I can knows to GO ELSEWHERE.

It is now March 1st and the only contact or progress made in this, is another late charge. They still cannot produce an invoice showing what they did with the check we sent originally. I am awestruck how little this company cares about their service or ripping off their customers

So far its been nine months of going back-and-forth with these incompetent piece of *** they *** up my bill then when I tell them to address my issue that I have called numerous times on and have been hung up on they refuse now they want to sue me so fine I have all my call logs and Im gonna tell everybody to stay the *** away from this business this is *** a scam with these companies they dont maintain the equipment and they expect us to *** pay for it like its a new piece of equipment when theyre renting something thats 20 years old and rusted

Worst experience in awhile

Rented a piece of equipment got 10 minutes of use because equipment was defective and got charged 400 dollars. Rental service tech straight up lied about equipment not being usable when I called to try to get a refund stating it was user error even though he could not get equipment to function when they had to pick it up.

Web pricing and actual rental pricing not correct.

Rotary Hammer rental. Web rate is $28 Daily $51 Weekly $89+ Monthly. Price quoted on the phone was $89 per day. Store would not honor web pricing. United Rental 11250 E 40th Ave Denver , Co 80239 Went to competitor and told them the problem I had with United Rental and they agreed to match your Web Price.

Ordered lift 2 weeks ahead of time and they took money and said they called day before delivery to say they did not have a lift. How is that good service, sucks.

I reserved a piece of Equipment, They billed my credit card on Friday. I scheduled the pickup for Monday morning, 2 days later. I drove in traffic all the way to Stamford, and they told me that someone was supposed to call me, they don't have the equipment. Worst customer service I have ever been involved with. They don't care. Never even offered to see if one was available. Made me feel like I was bothering them botheringthem them.Dont deDont

Dissatisfied with late payment

I repeatedly send invoice copies to them. They do not communicate by phone, but will send emails asking for the same invoices again and again. So I send them, again and again. Still no payments - they are always behind on payment, usually by several months. Very frustrating.

I applied for a position with this company, went through the standard 2 interview process. Was told multiple times when I reached out for updates on securing a position with the company that my interviews had gone great, and that I should be hearing something in a few days. I followed up weekly and then started following up every 2 days or so and still could not get a firm answer. Just that I would hear something in a few days and again that my interviews went well but that one of the managers I had interviewed with had gone on vacation and that they were waiting on him to return. Literally just keeping me on the hook and excitedly awaiting good news. Me finally needing a firm answer because it had been well over a month since my first interview and 3 turned down jobs in the time leading to it. All for them to tell me today that they went with another candidate. I feel this was an extremely drawn out process to say the least. I had sent emails, texts, and left messages for management to give me a call with some sort of answer after being led on and then this. I just hope this does not happen to someone else. I thought highly of this company. Im extremely disappointed in how this process was handled.

Customer Service

To whom it may concern,

On Saturday July 10th, 2021 I wasted over 3 hours of my life that I will never get back thanks to the absolute worst customer service available in the equipment rental industry.

United Rentals claims to have an after hours service since they are closed on weekends. After calling the United Rentals number, I was directed to follow the prompts on the

Phone as per the recorded message to get in touch with someone for rentals that are needed for after normal business hours.

A recording comes on and tells me that your call will be taken in the order it was received. THREE different times I called on the morning of July 10th, 2021 beginning at 8:02am and

I proceeded to wait each time for over ONE hour for someone to take my call.

THREE different occasions and I waited for over an hour on each call placed and not ONE single person could pick up the phone!

United Rentals after hours service is the ABSOLUTE worst customer service existing in the equipment rental industry.

When you rent from them you give them your credit card information. Its like open season on your account. We have rented from them multiple times and not once was our account charged the quoted price. It is always more. They also sent out some junk equipment that leaked on the gym floor we were working in. My advise is stay away.

Shady Business Practices

I rented a scissor lift for 4 weeks. I did not have a way to oick or return the lift so I paid for pickup and delivery. On the last day of the rental nobody came to pick up the lift. I called the next morning and asked why nobody picked it up. The manager told me I have to call them to come get it. I said OK, come get it. Two days later they came and got it. When I got my credit card bill they had charged me almost $400 for the extra days. The company is very aware of when rental periods end and they just use this as a way to scam money from customers.

My husband rented a SkyJack lifter to install decking on our new home which is under construction. No one advised him to cover the equipment and consequently it has ruined our newly poured concrete patio with horrible rust stains.

When we called to ask if they would do something for us, the Rep. told us there was nothing that they could do and no one before had ever complained about this problem. He was so disinterested in our problem and didn't even care enough to ask how he could help. We have pictures of the staining, but he didn't even care about what he could do to stop this problem from happening to future customers.
